| About Marley | | Description | Marley, Mason and Max are the offspring of my husband, Jim's, "Little Dancer" a 4 1/2 lb female and the Sire is Paxton, a 3 1/2 lb male. All AKC Registered Yorkshire Terriers. Marley, Mason and Max are Jim's only "grandchildren" from his "Little Dancer." He has decided not to let her have another litter. These are special puppies. They were bred here at the house, born on our bed and raised in the front room (so we could constantly watch them for any signs of illness or hypoglycemia). I am happy to say, they have been in perfect health from birth. As for pricing; Marley at 2 1/8 lbs, is expected to weigh the same as his mother- 4 1/2 lbs at maturity is $ 700.
As for temperament: Marley is laid back, easy going but will join in "mock fights' with Mason and, at times, with Max. Mason is a little more aggressive, he will initiate most "mock fights with Marley and he thinks Max is his personal "play toy" and delights in making him "squeal" by biting Max's ears. Max is like a "boy named Sue." he backs into the corner and dares Mason to come in and get him- a get tough of die attitude. However, now that the litter has had its first immunization vaccinations, Max has Jim as his "champion," he is often saved by Jim when Mason gets his ears in his mouth and Max spends time on Jim's lap as he works on the computer.
Marley will make a great companion pet with families with children or a couple or individual as a companion pet. He seeks attention and is quick to give kisses when held. |
